Trinco at Oru, Throwley Way
Trinco sits inside Oru, a building at 7 Throwley Way that also houses co-working space, so laptops are a normal sight. The menu is mostly plant-based and inspired by Sri Lankan cooking, and there is a rooftop terrace for warmer days. If you need a desk for a full day, ask Oru about co-working options. LA Cafe Bistro, opposite Sutton station
For meeting a client or supplier coming in by train, LA Cafe at 1A-1B High Street is hard to beat on location. It is better suited to a one-hour meeting over coffee or brunch than an all-day laptop session, especially at busy weekend times.
Tiempo Lounge, 73 High Street
Tiempo opens at 9am every day and has a relaxed, roomy cafe-bar feel with big windows. Weekday mornings are a good time for a working session or an informal meeting.
